Nurul Septiana, M.Pd.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Pontano Sans', arial, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; text-align: center;\">Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This research was motivated by the poor performance of student learning on the subject of environmental pollution and learning model used by the teacher was still conventional, resulting in a lack of student motivation, this was encouraging researchers to conduct research using the model of <em>Problem Based Learning<\/em> (PBL) in order to use the model the learning outcomes of students will increase.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->This research aimed to: (1) the effect of the model of <em>Problem Based Learning<\/em> (PBL) with a contextual approach to the matter of environmental pollution on the response of the students, (2) the effect of the model of <em>Problem Based Learning<\/em> (PBL) with a contextual approach to the material contamination of the environment on cognitive students\u2019outcomes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This research used descriptive quantitative approach, the type was <em>quasi<\/em> experimental that was designed by <em>Non-equivalen Control Group Design <\/em>. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes and student questionnaire responses. The research population was a class X SMA PGRI Sampit 2nd semester 2016\/2017 academic year, the research sample was X-R1 class numbered 21 students as the eksperimen class and X-R2 class numbered 22 students as the control class . The data analysis used SPSS 20 <em>version for Windows.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The result showed that (1) there was posistif effect of <em>Problem Based Learning<\/em> model with contextual approach on the cognitive students\u2019 learning outcomes with sig 0,000&lt;0,05 (2) there was a very positif effect of <em>Problem Based Learning<\/em> with contextual approach on students\u2019 responses .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> <em>Problem Based Learning<\/em> (PBL), Contextual Approach, Student learning outcomes, Student responses<\/p>\n","protected":false,"gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"html"}]},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sari, Bunga Nilam.\u00a02017.
